Washington, D.C. (June 6, 2024) – Girl Up is thrilled to announce the 2024 USA Leadership Summit, a transformative in-person event aimed at uplifting youth leaders and promoting gender equality, is coming to Los Angeles on June 20-21, 2024.

Bringing together 100 girls and youth from across the nation, the Girl Up USA Leadership Summit promises two full days of idea-sharing, skill-building, and strategy-developing on ways to advance gender justice worldwide.

Uniting under the theme “Rest & Resist: Harnessing our Power for Change,” attendees will participate in a variety of interactive workshops, inspiring panel discussions, and influential networking sessions offering these passionate young activists the opportunity to engage in actionable activities centered around driving positive change in their communities and beyond.

Featuring prominent advocates & thought leaders including Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava, Actresses Ava Kolker and Demi Singleton, Singer-Songwriter MILCK, and Author Berna Anat, this year’s Summit will focus on promoting the balance of mental wellness, celebrating wins in the gender equality movement, telling impactful stories, creating innovative social enterprises, and encouraging further global activism to advance gender justice.

“Girls around the nation are looking for ways to find community, discuss passion-driven issues, and find joy,” said Priestley Johnson, Director of Girl Up USA. “That’s why we are so excited to welcome young changemakers to the 2024 USA Leadership Summit. This event is a powerful platform for young women to connect, learn, and grow. By equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, we are not only shaping the future of a new generation of leaders, but also the future of this country.”
