Rest & Resist: Harnessing our Power for Change

Girl Up USA is so excited to welcome you to Los Angeles, CA for our Leadership Summit on June 20-21, 2024, bringing together youth advocates for gender justice! This will be the first-ever Girl Up USA Leadership Summit hosted in Los Angeles and will focus on promoting the balance of mental wellness, celebrating wins in gender equity, telling our stories of impact, and promoting further activism in our communities. Through leadership training, educational programming, and inspirational speakers, every youth leader present will know how to harness their power for change.

Programming will feature keynotes and conversations with powerhouse leaders across the gender justice space and interactive workshops where you will learn how to further accelerate social change.

Girl Opportunities

Don’t miss your chance to speak at the 2024 USA Leadership Summit! We’re seeking input from Girl Up leaders to shape the Summit’s agenda and lead discussions on gender justice.

Opportunities include giving a Girl Talk, facilitating workshops, leading an inspire session, participating in a pitch competition, or guiding youth as a Big Sister.

Applications for any of the above opportunities are open to those who have applied to attend the in-person USA Leadership Summit. Apply by April 28^th and let your voice be heard!

Financial Aid

We offer financial aid for travel/lodging costs, up to $500 per qualifying attendee. Applicants will receive notification of their financial aid status within 3 weeks of application.
