Investing for the long-term
The LeadHERship Circle recognizes those who, through their generous financial support, are advancing Girl Up’s mission, vision, and directly helping to develop transformative leaders who advance gender justice worldwide. Join a global network of philanthropists with a gift of $1,000 or more annually to Girl Up.
Can’t give $1,000 all at once? Join our LeadHERship Circle with a gift of $83.33 each month for 12 months.
IMPACT
Where does my money go?
LeadHERship Circle members believe that when girls and women are in positions of influence, they work to create a more just and equitable world for everyone. Members are helping to:
- Educate, train, and mobilize girls to take action on intersecting issues like gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, girls’ education, closing the gender gaps in STEM and sports, climate change, mental health, and more.
- Deliver a free, virtual, evidence-based leadership development curriculum, The Leadership Course, to 200,000 girl leaders around the world.
- Support 6,500 Girl Up Clubs in 152 countries and all 50 U.S. states. Clubs are open to youth of all gender identities and help members learn and apply leadership skills related to advocacy, storytelling, fundraising, and grassroots organizing.
- Fund the Girl Up Community, an online platform that provides a safe space for tens of thousands of girls all over the world to connect with their peers in other cities and countries, access and share resources, and mobilize for change.
- Much, much more!
