In June 2024, more than 100 girls passionate about using STEAM to create positive change in the world united in Kochi, India for Girl Up’s WiSci South Asia camp! Over the course of one week, these bold STEAMinists from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and the United States brainstormed, researched, and collaborated to find innovative STEAM-based solutions to problems in their communities—together. At the end of this WiSci Girls’ STEAM Camp, they presented their projects and discovered the limitless power of STEAM in advancing social progress.
